Equitable Teaching Conference
Join the Center for Teaching & Learning and CU faculty, graduate students and teaching staff for a week of teaching-focused, virtual workshops that will help educators prepare for the fall semester with a focus on equity-minded practices. Conference participants will learn to responsibility for the climate in their classrooms, employ new teaching practices that are proactively inclusive, and create spaces of belonging in their classrooms for all students.
Each day's programming centers around a theme, and will begin with a casual coffee hour conversation. There will be two daily opportunities to join interactive workshops, and each day closes with a happy hour conversation.
Monday: Identity and Presence
Tuesday: Student Engagement
Wednesday: Relationships in the Classroom
Thursday: Reflecting on Student Learning
Friday: Creating a Syllabus
