DESCRIPTION:Equity-minded assessment is an approach to assessment that aims
  to promote more positive and equal outcomes for all learners. In this ses
 sion\, we’ll discuss how to leverage evidence-based and equity-minded as
 sessment practices to support learner engagement\, motivation\, and learni
 ng. Participants will learn strategies for implementing equity-minded asse
 ssment at the level of course design and at the level of individual assess
 ments (quizzes\, papers\, projects\, etc.). Participants will also have th
 e opportunity to reflect on their current assessment practices and get fee
 dback on changes they are considering implementing in a supportive\, colla
 borative environment. Lastly\, participants will learn about resources to 
 support the implementation of equity-minded assessment in their courses. T
