DESCRIPTION:With Kelly Gildersleeve\, Assistant Director of the CTL\n\nAsse
 ssment\, the systematic process of collecting and using data to measure st
 udent learning\, plays a critically important role in supporting learner s
 uccess. In this session\, we’ll discuss how to design a robust assessmen
 t plan that leverages assessment to support learner engagement\, motivatio
 n\, and learning—with the ultimate goal of promoting more positive and e
 qual outcomes for all learners. Specifically\, participants will learn how
  to design “equity-minded assessments” that are well-aligned with cour
 se learning objectives\, rigorous\, transparent\, authentic\, and inclusiv
 e. Participants will also have the opportunity to workshop ways to incorpo
 rate equity-minded assessments into their own courses in a supportive\, co
 llaborative environment. This workshop is part of the CTL and ASSETT’s F
