Negotiations can be a contentious and competitive process, encouraging individuals to stray from their values temporarily to achieve desired outcomes. The Daniels Fund helps professionals make principled decisions even when pressure is high to cut corners. This workshop will be presented by guest speaker, McKenzie Rees, from Brigham Young University on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm.

Her research argues that a first step in successfully doing the right thing when negotiating is being able to recognize aspects of situations that motivate self-interested, unethical, and values-inconsistent behaviors. She will share about tactics that negotiators can use to ensure that their behavior aligns with their core values and strategies for elevating others' perception that one is negotiating ethically. We will workshop some of her tactics and strategies to begin practicing them for ourselves.

Please sign up on the registration link by April 2nd to attend on Friday, April 5th from 1:00 to 2:30 pm.
