This interactive workshop is designed to help students begin discovering their “why” when it comes to choosing a future job or career. Students will explore their VIPS—Values, Interests, Personality, and Skills—and reflect on what they already know about themselves while identifying areas for further exploration. Through guided activities and peer conversations, students will connect with others who are also navigating major and career decisions.

Students will:

• Clarify their VIPS and learn tools to explore them more deeply
• Identify a personalized action step to move forward in their career journey
• Discover how minors and certificates can enhance their degree
• Learn about opportunities to gain experience through on-campus jobs, short-term projects, and online certifications
