"Resonant Renaissance" takes listeners on an inventive journey through narratives of underrepresented composers. Barbara York's emotive "A Caged Bird" and Elizabeth Raum's virtuosic "Bass Trombone Concerto" create a vast emotional tapestry. David Wilborn's "Jazz Triptych" celebrates jazz's impact on classical music. The recital aims to breathe life into less-heard voices, showcasing the trombone's versatility in a joyous rebirth. Each note resounds with rich emotion, echoing the vibrancy of neglected voices and amplifying the trombone's transformative power through resonance.
