With Loren Hough, Associate Professor, Physics and Faculty Director of DEAI in the Graduate School and Preston Cumming, Professional Development Lead, CTL. These trainings are co-hosted by the Center for Teaching and Learning and the Graduate School.

The Center for Teaching & Learning and the Graduate School's Inclusive Research Mentoring (IRM) training prepares participants to enhance their academic mentoring in research environments. Our program is based on the CIMER mentoring curriculum and provides participants with skills and knowledge to mentor student scholars and less experienced members of their research team.

For the summer of 2024, the Graduate School and CTL will offer all eight sessions for faculty participants. Training will consist of four, one-hour sessions on Monday, May 20th and four, one-hour sessions on Tuesday, May 21st from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. MT. Sessions will be held on East Campus in the Jennie Smoly Caruthers (BIOT) building

RSVP for the session(s) you would like to attend. 

We ask that by registering, you are completely committed to attending. We cannot provide these unless we have at least ten participants. For those looking for just one or two of these, please indicate this in your registration and join as needed on the day(s) of your session(s).
