Title: "Improving decision support for water treatment operations via multi-objective optimization"

Speaker: William J. Raseman, Graduate Research Assistant, Civil, Environmental and Architectual Engineering, CU Boulder

Raseman is a PhD student in water resources engineering at CU Boulder. He earned a BS in civil engineering from the University of Notre Dame, where he researched numerical modeling for groundwater management problems. After graduation, he served as the country director for SPOUTS of Water, manufacturing low-cost, point-of-use water filters in Uganda. His doctoral research focuses on leveraging data analysis and optimization to improve the operation and design of drinking water systems.
