All first-year CU Engineering students are invited to participate in a survey about their experience at CU this semester (check your inbox for a message on 11/8—Subject line: Reminder: Earn $10 by taking the survey).

This 5-minute survey includes questions about sense of belonging, making friends, finding classmates to study with, and for students who live on campus, the social environment in their residence hall. Responses to the survey will help CU understand what is going well for members of the first-year class, recognize differences in experience that students may be having based, in part, on their identity/identities, and identify where improvements need to be made.
 
Once participants complete the survey they can opt-in to receive $10 of Campus Cash or alternatively, contribute their $10 award to the CU Basic Needs Center, which supports CU students in emergency situations with food and housing.

Join us with Cosmo’s pizza for a discussion about previous campus survey results and what can be done to make CU a more inclusive community where all students can thrive. Julie Volckens, OIEC director of assessment, will share some of the findings from past surveys, answer questions about the current survey, and listen to feedback students want to share about their CU experience.
