Free screenings feature CMCI Student Productions

Campus and community members are invited to a special screening of six short video stories highlighting the exhibits, research and collections of the CU Museum of Natural History! Topics include:

  • A profile of archaeolgist Earl Morris
  • What we can learn from fossilized dinosaur feces
  • Building a new exhibit
  • Repatriation of sacred relics
  • Story behind the Mahaffy Cache tool discovery
  • Preserving textiles

CMCI journalism students applied their digital photography and editing skills to create original broadcast video productions that highlight various aspects of the CU Museum of Natural History. These works were created by CMCI students with the help of faculty and staff of the CU Museum of Natural History. Each student researched and produced their stories in the CMCI's Advanced Camera and Editing class,  taught by Paul Daugherty, Senior Instructor in the Department of Journalism. Event is free. RSVP requested.
