CANCELED: Spring Color Tree Walk

Due to the probability of active weather and potential thunderstorms, the May 31th Tree Walk at CU is canceled

The CU Museum of Natural History and CU Facilities Management Outdoor Services will be hosting their annual Spring Color Tree Walk, led by Facilities Operations Arborist Vince Aquino. The tour is free and open to the public.

Throughout this approximately 90 minute tour, Aquino will share the distinctive characteristics and historical significance of the trees on CU’s main campus. Since the time when the first plains cottonwood was planted near Old Main, the CU tree population has grown to nearly 5,000 trees representing more than 100 species from all over the world.

Tour will commence at the south doors of the CU Museum of Natural History at 15th and Broadway. Pre-registration is requested.
