Abstract: Join us for a day of learning about the fundamentals of high performance computing (HPC). We will cover basic Linux, Bash scripting, and HPC job submission in three separate lectures. At the end of the workshop, we will provide one-on-one support on these topics as well as profiling, compiling and linking code, and makefiles.
You may attend any or all of the sessions as you wish!
The three lectures are intended for beginner users, while the consult time is for beginner or advanced users, as needed.

09:15 am - 10:30 am - Introduction to Linux
10:30 am - 10:45 am - Break
10:45 am - 12:15 pm - Introduction to Bash Scripting
12:15 pm - 01:00 pm - Lunch (on your own)
01:00 pm - 02:30 pm - Job submission
02:30 pm - 04:00 pm - Consulting support
