About this Event
Free EventJoin the A&S JEDI Office in celebration of Native American Heritage Month with a viewing of the New York Times Critic's Pick documentary film Gather, an intimate portrait of the growing movement amongst Native Americans to reclaim their spiritual, political and cultural identities through food sovereignty, while battling the trauma of centuries of genocide.
The film will be shown in the CASE Auditorium from 3–4:30 p.m. We will then move to the Chancellor's Hall for a luncheon from 4:30–5:15 p.m., catered by Tocabe Indian Eatery. Finally, we will complete the evening with a Q&A with Indigenous panelists Brickman House and A-dae Briones from First Nations Development Institute and Clint Carroll and Angelica Lawson from the CU Boulder Ethnic Studies Department. You are encouraged to join for all three events, but you are welcome to individually select any of the three.
