10:00 am

Light refreshments will be served following our Ceremony

We will have our graduation ceremony in MCOL W100 (Bruce Curtis Building) – right across from Guggenheim to the south. After the ceremony we will come back to Guggenheim for light refreshments and our graduates are welcome to give their family and guests a tour of our building! 

You may spread out and use all open rooms while having refreshments.

Caps and Gowns- Undergraduate:

  • Undergraduate Students purchase their regalia from the CU Book Store either in-store or online. Details are available in the Graduation section of the CU Book Store website.
  • Graduate Students purchase regalia directly from Jostens.  Please see this web page from the bookstore for a link to the Josten’s website.

  • Jostens usually has a deadline to order, so if you plan on getting regalia, check it out now and order soon.

Reception:

Please feel free to spread out around Guggenheim after you choose your food and drink. You may use our lounge on the first floor or our classrooms in the basement and second floor and also our seminar room on the second floor. No food or drink should be brought into the KESDA lab, but you are welcome to see it when you are done eating. You are also welcome to tour the building during our reception. 

Parking:  

The university will host several Recognition Ceremonies and/or receptions throughout campus on Thursday, December 15th, Friday, December 16th and Saturday, December 17th. On these days, all campus parking lots, with the exception of Lot 380 (located near Macky Auditorium) will be open on a space available basis for public parking. Parking on-campus, including at parking meters and pay stations, is free on recognition ceremony days.

Campus Closure:

In the event of a campus closure due to weather:  Generally, the decision to close is made by 5:30am on the day of the closure and will be posted on the university website, so please check there. Additional information will be sent to you as it becomes available.
