Getting Started: Goals and Accountability
Graduate students face unique challenges when it comes to balancing multiple projects in addition to research, publishing, and teaching obligations. This accountability seminar helps new graduate students set goals, manage their time efficiently, and maintain good writing habits, while fostering relationships with peers across disciplines. This seminar is designed for early career graduate students in their first or second years.
We grow community through continued contact by encouraging grad students to attend each week and report their progress to their peers. The goal of the seminars is to build effective tool sets for improving work efficiency and productivity. Drop-ins welcome.
In addition to a focus on time mangagement, accountability, and productivity, the seminars will also cover career and professional development topics that will be covered in sessions this fall. Learn about topics such as:

- Relationship building
- One-on-one writing and career advice
