GIS for Sustainability Part 2

Sustainability Skills Workshop: GIS for Sustainability Part 2 with Mehdi Heris - Friday, November 15, 1pm - 5 pm. $50 with discounts available.
This workshop will continue the work from Part I and include Interpretation and outputs of spatial information and the most effective avenues for continuing management of data. A case study with a working sustainability oriented GIS professional is included. A certificate of completion will be awarded to everyone who completes both workshops. 

This is the second in a two part series on GIS mapping for environmental and sustainability professionals. Come gain a working understanding of interpretation and outputs of spatial information and the most effective avenes for continuing management of data. This workshop includes case studies with a working GIS professional. Everyone will access and and learn to use basic GIS working tools.  

Pre-requisite is the Part 1 workshop on November  8. 
Students who complete BOTH of the GIS for Sustainability workshops will receive a certificate of completion in GIS for Sustainability from the CU Environmental Center.

Cost is $50 sliding scale for enrolled CU Boulder students only. Enrollment is limited.

NOTE: Priority is given to CU Boulder students. Faculty, staff and  alumni are admitted on a space available basis for $100. Please contact us if you are interested.
