This is a two-day, four-hour personal development party and you’re invited. Join Leslie Blood, PhD, Director of Graduate Community & Program Development, for this crash course that is all about you… your goals, your growth, your success. In this workshop, you will identify goals to work on in the following 10-week summer seminar series. No matter where you are in your academic career this intensive is perfect for you. Are you new to CU and beginning your graduate journey? Sign up. Are you a few years in and looking for inspiration and motivation? Let’s do it. Are you a regular in Grad+ seminars already planning to crush Summer of 2023? Excellent. Welcome back my friends.

Goals, Growth Strategies & Reflection:

Tuesdays* from May 23 through June 27 (6 weeks) via zoom

How would YOU like to meet the real YOU? If you’re tired of setting goals and failing to meet them and if you’re ready to figure out why it’s so hard for you to of the things you say you want to do, it’s time to embrace this six-week challenge and get…uncomfortable. Sound appealing yet?

Sometimes we need to forget what we think we know about ourselves and start fresh. Join Leslie Blood, PhD, Director of Graduate Community & Program Development, as she shows you how to ask yourself better questions, personalize your approach to growth and learn the skills you will need to create a more sustainable life both on and off campus. This won’t be easy but it will be rewarding. Take yourself school supply shopping because you are going to need a small notebook, a pen you enjoy using and a good attitude! Okay…maybe you won’t come with a good attitude, but I promise you will leave with a more hopeful one.

Building Strong Foundations With Wellness:

Tuesdays* from July 11 through August 1 (4 weeks) via zoom

Here is the funny thing about all these seminars and workshops you sign up for in the hopes that you will discover the key to success. The first step is to commit to attending seminar regularly and show up with a growth mindset. But in addition to that, the truth is that unless you are eating well, sleeping well, and scheduling time for your personal development and wellness, nothing will stick.

Stacy Gerberich, PsyD, CAPS Embedded Therapist for the Graduate School, will be taking over the last 4 weeks of summer seminar to teach you intentional wellness practices that will help you build a strong foundation so that you can continue to show up, do the work and thrive even when life throws you some curveballs. Let’s address the basics, do the groundwork, and figure out the perfect wellness habits for you to carry into Fall of 2023.

*The total 10-week virtual Grad+ Endurance Seminar Series will run from May 23 through August 1 on Tuesdays. By signing up for the summer seminar series, you will be enrolled in all 10-weeks.
