About this Event
The Grad+ Endurance Seminar Series led by Leslie Blood, PhD, will consist of weekly one-hour check-ins to support goal setting, planning and provide a clear understanding of how values should drive goals and habit structures. Students will find that these Endurance Seminars provide a solid foundation which should reduce stress and help them find their place in the graduate community.
If you have not taken a full year of Grad+ Endurance Seminar, we recommend you start with the Introduction option. If you have completed a year or more of Grad+ Endurance Seminar, we recommend you sign up for the Advanced Topics option.
The 12-week fall session will begin the week of Sept. 11 and will run through the week of Dec. 4 (with no programming Thanksgiving week). All sessions will take place via zoom.
Grad+ Endurance Seminar Series – Introduction
This year-long seminar will focus on time management skills, habits, your personal accountability style and how to build productivity blocks. From choosing the perfect organizational system to testing accountability strategies, our Grad+ Seminar Series will kick-start your graduate career in a positive direction. You will explore personality tests to better understand your drive and motivations and learn important attention management techniques. You will leave this year with fundamental skills and helpful habits that will support you through your graduate school academic career.
Grad+ Endurance Seminar Series – Advanced Topics
Are you ready to level-up, improve your productivity, lower stress and build a intentional life? Our Fall 2023 Advanced Topics Seminar will feature the following three lessons: Determination, Discipline and Action. This semester won't be for the faint of heart, but if you are serious about building resiliency and a growth mindset, this is for you. This will be a semester full of focus and performance improvement.
All graduate students welcome!
