Graduate School 101: Time Management and Focus
Do you feel busy, but not productive? Does time seem to slip away from you without getting the important things done?
In this workshop, Dr. Sarah Tynen will outline strategies for managing your time. Graduate students face unique challenges when it comes to balancing multiple projects in addition to research, publishing, and teaching obligations. Meanwhile, distractions from our phones and computers prevent us from being most efficient with our time. Often urgent tasks trump important tasks. This workshop will introduce several skills to improve focus and schedule your time to be used most effectively for your top priorities with the ultimate goal of taking back your weekends and graduating earlier.
Can't make it to this event? The Graduate Program Manager, Sarah, will hold and record a webinar on Zoom for those who can't make it in person at 4 pm the same day: https://cuboulder.zoom.us/j/535003872
