Give Us The F-ing Camera! (GUT-C!) is an inclusive artist collective at CU Boulder, formed to support underrepresented filmmakers and creatives and foster diversity in the media arts. Since its inception in August 2022, GUT-C! has created space for our students to fully express themselves, and has hosted workshops with renowned industry professionals to add representation to who our students see as successful artists. Taking inspiration from feminist praxis and inclusive set practices, GUT-C! hopes to combat the hetero-patriarchal norms of the film industry through networking, skill-sharing, events, and screenings, both for the general public and the community it hopes to represent.
