How To Do It in Renaissance Italy

"How To Do It in Renaissance Italy" features the curatorial work of the students of Literary and Artistic Cultures in Italy 1: 1200-1800. Led by Associate Professor Suzanne Magnanini, the students translated Italian passages from the works of Renaissance authors including Baldassarre Castiglione, Vannoccio Biringucci, and Vincentio Saviolo. The exhibit features rare 16th and 17th century Italian titles and their student translations. The exhibit also includes a beautiful, student hand-set, letterpress-printed guide of some of their translations that will be offered free to visitors.

The open house for this exhibit is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23rd, from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. in Norlin Library.
