An evening with Linda Sarsour

Human rights activist and author Linda Sarsour will speak at CU Boulder at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, in the UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom. Sarsour is being hosted by the student-led Cultural Events Board (CEB).

Sarsour’s presentation will focus on difficult discussions, and how they can empower people—especially students—with the tools and perspectives necessary to engage in discussion by fostering a culture of humanity and understanding.

Tickets are free for students, $2 for faculty and staff, and $5 for the general public. Tickets are available for purchase online.

Sarsour has been at the forefront of major civil rights campaigns. Most recently, she was the national co-chair of the Women’s March on Washington. She was featured on TIME’s list of “The 100 Most Influential People” in 2017 and is also the author of “We Are Not Here to Be Bystanders,” which was released in 2020.
