Dr. East brings expertise from a decade of research on immigration enforcement to cut through the rhetoric. Using evidence from past deportation campaigns, and new data from 2025, she examines whether these policies actually help U.S.-born workers, or the broader economy. She also breaks down what’s changed in ICE activity nationwide and in Colorado last year, and what those shifts mean for local communities, jobs, and economic growth.
