Abstract: This colloquium will share findings from the National Center for Research on Policy and Practice (NCRRP) about the use of research evidence in education from three studies: (1) four case studies focused on the organizational routines that support research use in district offices; (2) three case studies of research-practice partnerships focused on supporting teacher professional learning in mathematics; and (3) a study of brokerage of research in a professional association of state-level leaders in education. For the first part of the colloquium, we will be joined by scholars from across the US who are investigating research use in education.
