Watch an exciting ~30-minute film that follows a faculty member and a grad student as they investigate ice break-up on the Canning River in Alaska's National Arctic Wildlife Refuge. Our screening will be followed by a question and answer session with the researchers and filmmaker.
INSTAAR researchers Irina Overeem and Josie Arcuri are the stars of this new film by Ryan Vachon, a Boulder-based climate scientist and filmmaker. The film debuted at the Raw Science Film Festival 2024.
