At NALA, we develop computational models for the understanding and generation of natural language. Our current areas of interest include multilingual natural language processing, transfer learning, natural language processing for educational applications, computational morphology, low-resource machine translation, and language grounding. We will mainly be recruiting students with a degree in computer science, linguistics, or maths, but might consider students from other backgrounds on a case-by-case basis.
