 ings with open sessions\, all INSTAARs are welcome to drop-in and observe.
  Some meetings or portions of meetings\, however\, will operate in ‘exec
 utive session’ (personnel discussions\, etc.)\, where only voting member
 s and ex-officio administrative staff will be present. \n\n \n\nWhat is th
 e Directorate?\nINSTAAR’s governing body is the Directorate.  Voting mem
 bers\, called Faculty Fellows\, include tenured and tenure-track faculty w
 ho are co-rostered in academic departments\, research faculty\, and INSTAA
 R-based federal research scientists.  Non-voting members include key admin
 istrative staff and a representative each of professional research assista
 nts\, postdoctoral fellows\, and graduate students. See more about INSTAAR
