Learn the fundamentals of operating powered woodworking equipment safely. This workshop covers the miter saw, track-saw, band-saw, and drill press. This workshop is required before you use the Makerspace woodshop for course-related or personal projects. There is no take-home project associated with this workshop.

Before you arrive, please be aware:

1. Bring a paper copy of your signed safety contract

2. You must wear close-toed shoes.

3. Please arrive 5 minutes early.
