Sustainability Skills Workshop: Introduction to Beekeeping

Learn about the incredible world of the bee, how to care for bees and how to encourage the multiple benefits of pollination and honey production in your backyard. This workshop will introduce keeping European honeybees as a backyard hobby including types of hives, what bees need, and how to care for them. An opportunity to see a working hive is planned, weather permitting. Taught by Travy Bellehumeur of BeeChicas!

COST: $15

Priority enrollment for CU Boulder students. Enrollment is limited. Faculty, staff and alumni are admitted on a space available basis for a $50 fee. Please reach out in the final week prior to inquire about space availability.
