This event is now full! ISSS is excited to plan similar events in the Fall 2024 semester for those who missed out!

International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) will be taking a group of international students on a retreat to Garden of the Gods Park for a day of mindfulness and exploration to allow students a chance to de-stress before Finals. The retreat is significantly funded by a generous donation by the Dorothy and Anthony Riddle Family Foundation.

Join us on an 8-hour day trip to Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs - lunch and transportation costs are included! Meet other international students and your ISSS advisors for a guided walk around the park lead by ISSS Staff Member, Srilekhya Akkina, and relax during a guided meditation lead by Shubham Sapkota of the Renee Crown Wellness Institute. No hiking experience needed! You must be 18 years or older to participate. Adult partners/spouses of international students are also welcome.

The trip will take place on Saturday, April 26. Participants will meet at the C4C parking lot to board the bus. The Dorothy and Anthony Riddle Family Foundation will cover 75% of the cost of the trip. Students must pay the remaining 25%, or $18.13, to reserve their place on the trip. Tickets are non-refundable to ensure students that sign up are committed to attending. Students must register ahead of time here: Event link has been removed as a result of the registration being full.

ISSS-led trips are official functions of the University of Colorado at Boulder, and therefore all University policies apply. Illegal drugs, marijuana, and alcohol are expressly prohibited.

Please email questions to isss@colorado.edu and write “Garden of the Gods” in the subject line.
