All INSTAARs are invited to attend this JEDI workshop on Monday Feb 26th at 12:00 pm. We’re delighted to welcome back Dr. Patricia Gonzalez and Marysia Lopez from the JEDI office in the College of Arts and Sciences as our invited speakers.

Through intentional reflection, participants will examine the ways that anti-Blackness exists within ourselves and our communities. The discussion will wrap up with a review of strategies and resources to address one's own anti-Blackness. This space is created as a space to connect, share ideas, and identify actions for moving forward together.

Enjoy some pizza, soft drinks, and coffee while learning about how we can all help making INSTAAR an anti-racist institute, and how we can promote a more just, equitable, diverse, and inclusive community for all.

We will meet in SEEL room 303 (conference room on the third floor of SEEL) or on Zoom. Because access to the SEEL building is restricted to those with authorized cards, a person from our team will stay by the bridge on the second floor of SEEC connecting to SEEL until noon.
