If you are interested in living abroad and working in Japan, why not consider the JET Program

  • Is Japanese fluency required? No!
  • Do I have to graduate with a bachelor’s in Japanese? No, as long as you have a bachelor’s degree, you can apply!

JET Program participants are accepted to the program live and work in local communities across Japan. Participants work as ALTs (Assistant Language Teachers), helping Japanese elementary, middle, or high school students learn and study English while also teaching about their home country’s culture. Participants may also work as CIRs (Coordinators of International Relations), being placed in local Boards of Education of City Halls, to help facilitate cultural exchange, tourism, sister city relations, among other activities.

Come and learn more about JET and the application process.
