CareerWellbeing. Core Competency: Inclusive Excellence.  In order to actively invite and support diversity as well as provide an affirming and inclusive environment in Student Affairs, leaders must have a sense of their own agency and a sense of social responsibility.  This two-hour, interactive workshop is available for any SA employee wanting the intercultural competence necessary to make excellence inclusive on campus. Workshop highlights include:   

• gaining an understanding of Pope and Reynold’s Tripartite model of awareness, knowledge, and skills
• an in-depth look at our own personal identities and where participants will analyze their agent/target status in relationship to supervision
• highlighting a leader’s role in making inclusion work by supporting protected classes and enforcing discrimination and harassment policies.
