DESCRIPTION:The Department of Linguistics is bringing "Linguists at Work" t
 o CU for a series of professional talks and workshops geared toward industr
 y jobs in linguistics outside of academia. Linguists and language experts w
 orking in a variety of career paths and industries discuss their fields and
  paths to employment with students at all levels\, Bachelor's\, Master's\, 
 and PhD alike. All CU students and faculty are welcome to attend. All event
 s will take place via Zoom throughout the Spring 2021 semester.\n\nIn this 
 talk\, Cat Diebel-Wilson from CU Boulder Career Services leads a workshop o
 n how to pursue careers in linguistics outside of academia\, covering topic
 s such as: searching for positions\, writing resumes\, and networking.
