Create an illuminated painting based on historic manuscript illuminations. Participants will be provided kits with supplies to paint their own illuminations (while supplies last), while also being introduced to the history of manuscript illumination, and seeing historic examples from our Rare Books collection. This will be a drop-in event with Preservation staff on-hand for instruction and questions.
