About this Event
1157 18th Street, Boulder, CO 80309
https://libraries.colorado.edu/culture-crawlJoin us in Norlin Library’s Rare Books classroom to create a painting based on historic manuscript illuminations. We will also have a letterpress printing machine set up to make your own bookmark! While supplies last.
This will be a drop-in event with Preservation and Rare Books staff on-hand for instruction and questions. For the illuminations, participants will be provided kits and instructions to paint at their own pace. All materials in the kits can be taken home. Rare Books staff will help those using the letterpress printing machine to create bookmarks. There will also be historic examples of works from our Rare Books collection on display.
