Join the Rachel Carson Council, a national environmental NGO based in Washington,
DC, for an interactive session on environmental justice, advocacy, fellowships, and
pathways into climate leadership!

Students will learn how storytelling, policy, and organizing intersect in today’s climate
movement, and explore tangible opportunities to get involved. These include national
fellowships, leadership development programs, advocacy trainings, and publishing
opportunities.

Whether you’re interested in environmental policy, communications, community
organizing, or creative writing, this session will offer practical tools and clear next steps for
turning your academic interests into real-world impact.
