#motioncaptureworkshopWhether you want to create an animation of a character with human-like movement or if you want to track a moving object through a space, motion capture systems can be an easy and useful solution. Motion capture is highly used in robotics, AR/VR and in animations. In the ATLAS Institute, we have two dedicated spaces equipped with motion capture systems. We have organized this hands-on workshop for you to learn how these systems might be helpful for your projects and how to use them. On day one, you will see different projects that used motion capture systems as inspiration. Then, you learn how to create and locate an object of your choice (e.g., an aerial robot, AR/VR headsets, etc). One day 2, you learn how to use markers to track the human skeleton and how to read the data of each joint in the body. Come join us to learn about a potential new resource for your projects.
