Multi-Functional Materials student mixer
The Multi-Functional Materials Interdisciplinary Research Theme in the College of Engineering and Applied Science is hosting a student mixer event from 5:30 – 7 p.m. on Aug. 18 in the Discovery Learning Center (DLC). This free event will feature posters and networking opportunities to help brainstorm ways to create material systems that integrate sensing, actuation, computation, and communication. Interdisciplinary Research Themes in the college are all made up of faculty, staff, and students. They help researchers coordinate faculty hires, share facilities and use seed funding to leverage work that could provide transformational societal impact. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided at this session and registration can be completed online. For more information contact IRT Director Nikolaus Correll.
