About this Event
Are you a faculty or staff member interested in helping students have better career conversations—without needing to become a career expert? Curious about how to integrate career curriculum into your courses but unsure where to begin?
This session is designed for educators who want to support students in identifying and articulating the skills they’re developing throughout their academic journey. Kelly Chastain, who previously taught English at the University of Pittsburgh and now leads the MySkills program at CU, will share a practical, ready-to-use curriculum developed in Career Services. This curriculum helps students translate their experiences into compelling hiring materials and prepares them to enter the workforce with confidence.
Attendees will explore:
Students often undervalue their experiences, which can lead to lower-paying jobs and missed opportunities. This session aims to equip faculty and staff with tools to help students recognize and communicate their qualifications effectively.
Discover how easy it can be to make a lasting impact on students’ career readiness—all with a done-for-you approach.
This virtual session is open to faculty and staff only.
