Are you planning to submit a proposal for a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship? Join RIO Proposal Writer Donna Axel at ONE of the brief kick-off introductions to RIO’s NEH Fellowship Peer Editing Workshop Series. From January through early April, participants will draft proposals and participate in one peer editing workshop (2-5 faculty max per group) to hone the narrative portion of their NEH Fellowship applications before the NEH April 10 deadline.

Because this is a series, in addition to this Intro event on January 25, we ask faculty to commit to the following:

  • Attend the Jan. 31 NEH Fellowship Categories & Requirements 1-hour webinar
  • Meet 1-1 with Donna before Feb. 18 (unless you have already met with her)
  • Prepare a draft narrative for review by committed colleagues by early to mid-March
  • Peer review 3-5 proposals
  • Attend one peer review workshop in early- to mid-March (TBD by faculty)

Register and attend only ONE of these 30-min. VIRTUAL ZOOM sessions:

Thursday, Jan. 25: 10–10:30 a.m. MST OR 4–4:30 p.m. MST

  • Who: T/TT Arts and Humanities Faculty and Social Sciences Faculty pursuing humanistic research who are interested in applying for a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship (deadline: April 10).
  • When: Thursday, Jan. 25
  • Where: Virtual via Zoom
