The level of interest in the Neurodiversity Training for Supervisors has been both encouraging and overwhelming, and it’s confirmed for us just how significant the need is for this type of training. Registration was capped at 50 attendees and it filled within two days.

CU Boulder’s Alliance for Neurodiversity (AND) employee affinity group is excited to offer a series of four virtual trainings to help supervisors at CU Boulder better understand and support neurodiverse employees. With 15-20% of the world's population identifying as neurodiverse, this training highlights the importance of fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace. These one-hour sessions will provide valuable insights and practical tools to create a supportive environment where all employees can thrive.

 

Training Schedule: 

Neurodiversity 101 – Introduction to the Neurodiversity Movement and its role in the workplace. 

Empowering Neurodiverse Teams – Learn neurodiversity language and how disability and neurodivergence present in our organization. 

Leading and Managing Neurodiverse Teams Part 1 – Cultivate a thriving neurodiverse team and create equitable environments. 

Leading and Managing Neurodiverse Teams Part 2 – Navigate supervisory relationships, provide effective evaluations, and foster deeper inclusion. 

 

Dates and Times: Sessions will be on Fridays from 10am-11am (MT) via Zoom. Registration is required.
