New Venture Challenge: Pitch Workshop #1
This event is co-hosted by the CU Boulder New Venture Challenge and the College of Engineering & Applied Science (CEAS), sponsors of the NVC Hardware Track. As the home for Engineering + Entrepreneurship, CEAS provides the knowledge, resources and opportunities to help founders go from idea to real world impact.
NOTE: While some NVC events might be hosted by specific Tracks, anyone can attend NVC events, regardless of Track they belong to!
Your startup is so much more than just your logo, your product, or your financial projections. It's a story about how you're planning to make the world a better place. But how do you know what information matters, and how to present it if you've never had to do it before?
On January 30th, you'll learn from serial entrepreneurs how to craft an engaging and compelling pitch for your startup. This workshop will cover the details you'll need to include, how to structure your pitch for maximum impact, presentation tips and tricks, and the science of how to engineer the perfect pitch to keep the audience on the edge of their seats.
Teams competing in the New Venture Challenge – especially those competing in the Hardware Track – are highly encouraged to attend this workshop to sharpen their pitch skills ahead of the competition!
We'll have dinner and refreshments available for all attendees.
