Nobel Lecture Series: Elfriede Jelinek

Elfriede Jelinek was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2004. She is an Austrian playwright and novelist. The musical flow of voices and counter-voices in her novels and plays reveal the absurdity of society clichés and their subjugating power. Presented by Beverly Weber, Professor of German.
