Tundra / No Tundra is an exhibition documenting a series of site-specific artworks created by CU Boulder students and staff during the 2023 Art and Environment Field School in Nederland, CO. Throughout the 3-week course, CU students from a variety of majors planned, built, and documented an artwork designed for a specific site around CU’s Mountain Research Station. Each individual work reflects the artist’s interest in the relationship between art and environmental topics that include forest ecology, water use, landscape, and the interconnections found throughout the built and natural world.
