About this Event
The University of Colorado is a proud partner of the Colorado-Wyoming Climate Resilience Engine (CO-WY Engine), one of ten inaugural awardees under the National Science Foundation (NSF) Regional Innovation Engines initiative. The first grant proposal requests from the CO-WY Engine are now posted, funding use-inspired research and development (awards up to $300,000 each) and translation or commercialization projects (awards up to $750,000 each) within the Colorado-Wyoming region. Topics that the Engine will consider in this funding cycle are complex earth sensing, soil carbon capture data and analytics, methane emissions analysis, extreme weather modeling, wildfire risk and prediction, and water availability prediction. Join the Research & Innovation Office (RIO) for an overview of how to craft a competitive proposal for the solicitation and learn about resources around campus to help your submission succeed. Visit the CO-WY Engine website
This opportunity is for all CU Boulder and CU Denver faculty interested in innovative solutions that support communities in monitoring, mitigating and adapting to climate impacts.
