Stress is a component of life, yet certain foods and habits can make stress feel much worse and even make you sick. Learn how to plan meals that reduce stress on your body, increase energy, enhance moods, decrease sugar cravings and increase ability to handle daily ups and downs. Hint – it starts with breakfast!

This workshop is hosted by the Faculty & Staff Assistance Program and sponsored by Elevations Credit Union.

  • Apply meal planning strategies for better health and energy
  • Create better food and stress management habits

Who should attend

This workshop is intended for any CU Boulder faculty or staff member who wants to learn more about making choices around designing healthy and balanced life habits.

Facilitator

Jen Marshall, CNT " style="small"]As a certified nutrition therapist at the Louisville Wellness Center and founder of Be Balanced Healing, LLC, Jen’s specialty is helping clients regain balance while juggling life’s many responsibilities. Her background in marketing for the organic food industry helped shape her knowledge of today’s food politics and how they impact your health. She received the master certification in nutrition therapy from Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver and is Board Certified in Holistic Nutritionâ (Candidate). Jen is also a health writer, lecturer, media spokesperson and consultant to organic and natural brands.
