Attend the opening reception of Norlin Library’s new exhibition, Fairy Tales and Powers of Wonder: Here Be Dragons! on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. on the 3rd floor of Norlin in the gallery space outside of the Special Collections and Archives classroom (N345).

Attendees will be able to chat with the curators and learn more about the exhibition. Light refreshments will be served.

About the exhibition: Fairy Tales and Powers of Wonder: Here Be Dragons! features materials from the Libraries’ Rare Books Collection. It highlights the role of the dragon in storytelling around the world and across time.

Here Be Dragons! was developed in coordination with concurrent exhibitions at the CU Art Museum and the CU Museum of Natural History, with the leadership of the University of Colorado Boulder Libraries. The CU Art Museum’s exhibition, Fairy Tales and the Power of Wonder, is on display now through May 2026. The Museum of Natural History’s exhibition is also opening April 16, 2026.
