Opening Reception | No Boundaries: Women Transforming the World

Attend the opening reception of the Earth Sciences & Map Library's upcoming exhibit, No Boundaries: Women Transforming the World featuring World Map Art by Charlotte Bassin and Mapworks by Deborah Cole.

Enjoy light refreshments while visiting with both artists.

About the exhibit: Featuring the works of two contemporary women artists and maps from the Earth Sciences & Map Library collection, No Boundaries: Women Transforming the World highlights how using maps in art-making prompts us to re-evaluate what we know about space, place and depiction of ourselves in the world. The exhibit will also bring attention to the historic and current role of women in cartography, exploration and geographic representation.

The exhibit opens April 17, 2023
