We welcome Dr. Nir Evron, Visiting Research Scholar, Program in Jewish Studies, CU Boulder; Senior Lecturer / Assistant Professor at Tel Aviv University, to talk about the depiction of animal cruely in one of the first Western novels, The Virginian by Own Wister Come listen, learn, and ask questions of Dr. Evron and the human-animal relationship in the American West. Lunch (vegan) will be provided to attendees who register by Jan. 24.
