Are you interested in learning how to lead art and science partnerships that catalyze community action on social justice and environmental issues?

Join us to hear from artists and scientists who will discuss a new university-community program for art and science collaboration and guidelines for this work. The program and guidelines were formed through research and interviews with art and science leaders nationwide and seek to support artists, scientists and community members in co-designing projects for real-world impact.

In the first 30 minutes, artists and scientists Patrick Chandler and Emmanuelle Vital will give an overview of the art + science guidelines.

The second half is for graduate students, artists and scientists to discuss their ideas and interest in art + science work and to learn about joining new art + science partnership cohorts offered through the CU Boulder Office for Outreach and Engagement and Boulder County Arts Alliance, who co-sponsor this event. Graduate students and local artists are welcome to apply to these cohorts by Jan. 27.

We encourage you to bring a visual representation of your work (web link, image, graph, etc.) to share with other attendees.

Please register for this event by Jan. 19.
